In this role, you will be:

Ensures safety, quality, housekeeping and standard work procedures are adhered to at all times and are to world class standards and are maintained.

Main responsibilities:

  • All required licenses are up to date
  • Maintains maximum utilization of machine and equipment
  • Work on Shuts, project work and trials.
  • Ensure all correct raw materials are loaded correctly
  • Ensure all production related data is recorded.
  • Ensure all applicable internal controls and company policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Reporting of machine parameter deviations
  • Structured problem solving participant
  • Ensure 5s and visual management is being followed
  • Follow work instructions
  • Meet safety standards
  • Plant inspections , equipment safety
  • Plant housekeeping
  • Centre lining , completing pulper log sheets
  • Process monitoring and reporting
  • Complete forklift check sheets
  • Assist WE assistant on the Stock preparation section
  • Operate pulper equipment from the DCS
  • Control raw materials and chemicals to standard

  • N3/Grade 12 or equivalent
  • 6 months experience in FMCG or other manufacturing environment
